Shape of Play is an exploration into narrative structure and spatial design, examining how these blend together across a variety of mediums.

With a heavy focus on level design and environmental storytelling in games, the blog posts consist of studies into existing works, new ideas and tracking progress on personal projects.

      That sounds pretty interesting! I ask because my ultimate goal is to end up in the games industry in some kind of Level Design/Enviroment Artist capacity.

      You don’t need to thank me for checking out the blog, thank yourself for the interesting articles. Pretty much everything on there is a good read, I particularly enjoyed the article about level flow.

      There’s some pretty exciting stuff happening for me at the moment, so I’ll keep you posted if anything interesting happens.
